The Muse Experience is an inspirational Summer training program unlike another.

This two week expansive experience combines the unique methods of nonprofit, socially purposed company, MusEffect along with practical exposure to the Los Angeles dance industry. This intensive is created to expand the person, as well as the artist and athlete.  Each day is filled with opportunities to test not only physical but intellectual limits. 

 

TRAINING

The dancers will train with leading Los Angeles professionals in diverse dance styles along side the company members of MusEffect. These young artists will build additional skill sets such as aerial work, trapeze, acting class, cross fit, rock climbing, acrobats and so on.  While the activities vary year to year, we can guarantee the opportunity for growth and expansion every single season.

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Through the engagement of community service The Muse Experience ignites the social activist in each of the dancers, allowing them to begin to utilize their art as a platform for conversation and social expression.

PHOTOSHOOT AND VIDEO PSA

Each dancer will gain the experience of a Photo Shoot with a LA photographer, resume building / live performance opportunities as well as gain on camera knowledge while taking part of a MusEffect PSA. 

 

This audition based program is offered in short form for dancers 10-16 years of age for 5 days as the Mini Muse Experience.   The full length intensive is for ages 14 and up which is The Muse Experience.
